Sydney, la big city de Australia
Al final llegamos a nuestro destino final con nuestra inseparable aussievan: Sydney. Esta vez sería "sencillo", solo teníamos que encontrar la casa de mis tíos Elsa e Ian... No fue tan sencillo...
Bienvenidos a Sydney!
Salímos de la autovía en dirección al barrio en donde vivian, y después de varias vueltas encontramos el verdadero rumbo, al otro lado de donde estabamos. Gracias a una gasolinera donde nos ayudaron muchísimo, encontramos la zona en donde vivían y gracias a una familia de por ahí llegamos a la calle guiados por el hijo de la familia en su moto, la amabilidad de aquella familia nos enamoró... Eso sí, la mujer nos preguntó si eramos hippies (por la aussievan: Hippie Camper) y mi respuesta fue: "mmm...not too much" a lo que le siguió una carcajada muy graciosa.

Apartir de este momento todo sería más fácil. Hasta ahora, y siempre, agradeceremos la hospitalidad de Elsa e Ian, nos llevaron a todos los sitios turísticos de Sydney, entre ellos el centro de la ciudad, las Blue Mountains, Bondi Beach, a los acantilados en la entrada de la bahía de Sydney y como no, un ferry de entrada a la ciudad para poder observar la Opera House, entre otras cosas.
Ya la primera noche nos fuímos a visitar la Opera House de noche, así pudimos ver cómo era una noche de copas en Sydney, pero lo más emotivo fue la manera como nos recibieron en Sydney

Al día siguiente aprovechamos el caluroso día soleado y nos fuímos a conocer la zona de Bondi, admirar sus playas, especialmente la de Bondi Beach, conocida en todo el mundo y aprovechar uns exposición de esculturas que nos ofrecía a orillas de un paseo, "Sculpture by the Sea".

En fin, pondría más, pero ya las podrán ver en nuestro albúm. Después aprovechamos para ir a "the Gap". Uno de los acantilados que dan la bienvenida a los que entran a la bahía por el mar. Aunque un poco escalofriante, el paisaje es increíble.

Al otro día nos tocó la visita a las famosas Blue Mountains, no es que fueramos a ver pitufos o nada por el estilo, es que deben su nombre debido a una densa neblina que hace que cree un efecto lumínico en las montañas haciéndolas ver azules.

El paisaje es una pasada, pero Ana se entretuvo más en los puntos de información, gracias a los miles de souvenirs que tenían.
Canguritos!
El día que subimos al ferry no tuvimos tanta suerte ya que los días soleados se esfumaron y nos trajeron vientos fríos... Creo que aún los tienen por ahí... Pero aún así, pudimos apreciar la preciosa bahía de Sydney y como no, la mejor tarjeta de prestación de la ciudad.

Tuvimos que aguantar un frío terrible acompañado de una pequeña llovizna que te ponía las cosas "facilísimas" pero había que hacerlo.

Ya después nos quedó un último paseo por la ciudad, para poder admirar no solo sus enormes edificios, si no también algunos barrios que se han mantenido en un tamaño considerable, y se han convertido en barrios emblemáticos de la ciudad, como es el caso de "The Rocks" y algún centro comercial como el "Queen Victoria".

Y así pasamos este último día por Sydney, ya solo nos quedaba la triste despedida de Elsa, Ian y Aldo...
